Privacy Notice
How the SLPP North America Region handles the information of members, applicants and visitors.
Our commitment
Protecting your information
Information we collect
When you apply for membership or contact the secretariat we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, city and state, and your chosen chapter.
For members of record, chapters also maintain membership dates, chapter and committee roles, dues standing and delegate status so the region can run its constitutional processes.
What is never published
Member telephone numbers, home addresses, dates of birth, employment details and dues records are never shown on this public website.
Meeting minutes, attendance registers, welfare case information, contribution records, internal reports and unpublished documents are restricted to authorised officers signed in to the members' portal.
Public pages show only aggregate figures — for example the number of active chapters or committee seats filled — and never identify individual members.
How your information is used
To process and review membership applications with your chapter executive.
To send regional and chapter communications, meeting notices and event invitations.
To administer committees, delegate selection, welfare support and financial records in line with the regional constitution.
How it is stored and protected
Records are held in a managed, access-controlled database. Access is granted by role: officers can see only the chapters and records their office requires, and every portal account is individually issued.
Documents such as chapter and welfare files are stored privately and are not retrievable without an authorised, signed-in session.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade member information. Information is shared only within the SLPP structures that require it for party business, or where disclosure is required by law.
Your choices
You may ask to see the information held about you, ask for a correction, ask to be removed from communications, or ask for your record to be withdrawn when you cease membership.
Requests are handled by the Regional Secretary General through the secretariat contact below.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only the storage necessary to keep a signed-in session active and to remember basic display preferences. It does not run advertising trackers.
