Purpose
To organize, engage, and empower members and supporters of the Sierra Leone People's Party throughout North America while promoting unity, civic participation, community service, and meaningful engagement in Sierra Leone's democratic and national development.

A united, well-organised North American region whose members are active participants in the life of the party and credible partners in Sierra Leone's development.

We act transparently and account for what we are entrusted with.
We work as one region across twenty chapters and two countries.
We measure ourselves by what we deliver for members and community.
Women, youth and elders all hold a place in our governance.
We follow the constitution, bylaws and due process.

The Sierra Leone People's Party North America Region (SLPPNA) is the organised body of SLPP members and supporters living in the United States and Canada. Constituted into twenty chapters, the region provides a structure through which Sierra Leoneans in North America participate in the life of the party, serve their local communities, and contribute to national development at home.
SLPPNA grew from local branches formed by Sierra Leonean communities in major North American cities. Over time those branches were organised into a single region with an elected Regional Executive, a Council of Elders, trustees and religious leadership, giving the diaspora a recognised and accountable voice within the party.
SLPPNA operates as a region of the Sierra Leone People's Party and is guided by the party constitution and by the directives of the national leadership. The region sends delegates to national conferences and works with party institutions on membership, policy dialogue and national programmes.
The region mobilises the diaspora around civic participation, welfare support, community service and coordinated engagement with national institutions, missions and consulates in North America.
The region is led by an elected Regional Executive, supported by a Council of Elders, trustees and religious leadership. Each chapter has its own executive, headed by a chairman and secretary general, and reports into the regional structure through regular meetings and returns.
